Who is 176
176 Boeing of Canada Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron was founded in October 16, 1942.
We
run a program that focuses on developing the youth of our community by
promoting responsibility citizenship, self-respect, and self-reliance.
Our Air Cadet Squadron offers programs for young people 12 to 18 years
of age, and teaches the Cadets useful skills ranging from instructing,
winter survival training, flying, leadership, effective speaking and
athletics. A large number of our Cadets have gone on to become
outstanding citizens, successful business people, pilots, and even
Olympic athletes.
The 176 Boeing of Canada Royal Canadian Air
Cadet Squadron currently maintains an active strength of close to 140
cadets on parade.

Communications
Parents and Cadets have been asking about getting emails sent regarding 176 Cadets Information. We have phased out notifications from the legacy google groups site and are focusing on the TeamSnap 176 RCACS App for all notifications. Please follow the given link and request to join our team to receive the latest schedule for all events with mapped locations that can be applied to your GPS smartphone. TeamSnap Live! allows 176RCACS to share live updates to an activity no matter where the parents are and provides an instant communication tool for our organisers to reach parents with on-the-fly updates. You can download the latest version of TeamSnap on your Apple or Android phone as well as on your home computer or tablet. You can subscribe and unsubscribe at anytime you want. If you have any difficulties unsubscribing, please contact Chris Mitchell at ssc@176cadets.ca providing the name and email address you wish to remove from the teamsnap site. If that doesn't work send us an email directly at info@176cadets.ca asking to be added and we will have you added as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience as we work on ensuring that cadets and parents are as informed as possible.
