Grand Forks Trip

Cadets are to be dropped off at the Louis Riel Arts and Technology Centre at 9 am on Monday, March 25th. The bus will be departing for Grand Forks shortly thereafter. Please be on time.

All cadets must have in their possession, their Valid Canadian Passport, original MB Health Card, and any medication necessary for their trip. Any cadet that is in possession of an epi-pen must notify Capt Bruce-Smith or SLt McKay before getting on the bus.

Cadets are discouraged from bringing cellular devices on this trip as the roaming charges could be cost prohibitive. The cost of cell phone use while in the USA is the responsibility of the parent. 176 RCACS or the Officer Staff will accept no responsibility for the use of any Cadets phone in the USA. Including loss or damage.

Cadets should bring with them adequate and appropriate clothing and toiletries for 3 days. This includes gloves/mitts, an appropriate outdoor jacket, and shoes. Cadets should also bring an appropriate swimsuit and their summer dress uniform. (Summer dress is – no tunic).

Tentative Schedule

We will be visiting numerous venues including; museums, interpretive centres, the University of North Dakota, a water park, and shopping centre in the Grand Forks and Fargo areas. Evening activities may include, the water park, shopping, and sporting activities. We will be returning home after 7 pm on Wednesday, March 27th. We will update the Facebook page upon or departure from the US and again from the Canadian Border. We would appreciate the timely retrieval of your children.
