Are you a cadet who is in Grade 12 or in Post Secondary education?
Can you use some additional funds to help pay for your education?

If you answered yes to these questions then you need to read this:

There are a number of scholarships available from the Air Cadet League of Manitoba. They range in value from $500-$2,500 EACH.
Last year they were unable to hand out all the scholarships because of a shortage of applicants.
If you are in Grade 12 or in Post Secondary school and in Cadets, we encourage you to apply for all these scholarships.

The league scholarships can be viewed at http://www.aircadetleaguemb.ca/scholarships.html
There is also an application form and instructions for them attached to this message, this one simple application allows you to apply for a large number of Provincial Scholarships.

We also have a 176 Sponsor Committee $500 scholarship that is handed out every year to an eligible grade 12 or older cadet. The requirements are simple, we need a copy of your most recent transcript, and a letter stating
what you have gained through your time in cadets and what you plan to do in the future with that knowledge. This can be emailed to us or handed in at the office attention "Mr. Toews, Local Sponsor Chair"

If you need some help with any of the applications please don't hesistate to ask Capt Bruce-Smith, Capt Comer or Mr. Toews.
